Raffle at Clambake

This year Women's Committee Raffle for the 2008 Clambake money was given to K.J.'s Angels.

I want to thank the following Units that help donate baskets at the 2008 Clambake for K.J.'s Angels:

• Baldwinsville Schools (2 baskets)
• City of Syracuse Unit 7801
• Combined Services
• Department of Social Services
• Local 834
• North Syracuse Office Personnel
• North Syracuse Teacher Aides
• Onondaga County Probation
• Onondaga County Transportation.

These are the lucky winders of the baskets: Linda Dendanto, Jamie Formica, Deb Pederzolli, Pat Carlucci, Todd Emmons, Kimberly Thomas, Debbie Walker, Carrie Maxey, Ron Lewandowski, and Judy Lemoniades.

We have raised $983.00 for K.J.'s Angels. Linda Hick's creation of K.J.'s Angels started after her loss of her infant son. Linda would visit her son's grave and notice how many children did not have a headstone on their graves, just pinwheels, toys, or paper flowers. The money that was raised will go to families in need in buying a tombstone or paying burial expenses.
